Following a month of use, we had been rather enjoying the seat despite some concerns but began to notice our daughter was creating nicks on her feet. It wasn't a significant concern till soon after a ten minute car ride with a screaming baby we identified blood all over the bottom of the seat and were horrified to uncover even with socks, she had bashed and scraped her feet against the silver plastic guard on the bottom of the seat although moving her legs causing her heels and ankles to be cut in a few places.
She's only a month old and normally a sleepy infant in her automobile seat. Apparently it doesn't take much for infants to catch their feet on this design flaw. Possibly some babies are additional docile with their legs than my daughter, but why opportunity it? I am so disgusted with this seat and am returning it promptly.

I began my search bylooking for the most lightweight method, and purchased the Graco Snugride. Yet, this seat was absurdly lengthy and produced the passenger seat in front of the seat practically useless (not to mention dangerously close to the airbag).
