This is our second Graco snugride-- we had been pleased with our initial 1 and required a second. I thought a snugride was a snugride, but boy was I wrong. Our first snugride had a handy belt adjustment device in the front by the crotch strap, so you could loosen and tighten the belts as necessary. This model does not have that function. Rather, the tightening device is on the BACK of the seat, and its not effortless to use at all. You basically have to manually thread the straps via a tiny ring-- totall PIA. And because its on the back, its not at all simple to access as soon as you have the seat in the car. Not getting the belt tightener in the front is fundamentally a disincentive to use the straps at the suitable tension-- a terrible and unsafe feature. I wish I had not bought this seat, or at the quite least wish I had checked that this seat had that adjustable function in the front like my old snugride. Hopefully by reviewing it right here I will save an individual else from making the exact same mistake.
I loved Graco for my daughter 7 years ago. So I registered for the Mickey Mouse themed car seat for my son. I will need to have known much better as anything to do with Disney automatically indicates the top quality suffers. I assume so that Graco can spend the ridiculous cost of licensing, they had to skimp on the good quality. The issues: the lining is thin and I can only guess uncomfortable, the material they utilized doesn't breathe and causes my son to sweat even in air conditioning, and now the buttons to push to release the carrying deal with don't operate and when they do, they screech so loudly there is no obtaining about waking a sleeping child. If you can see it in the store and compare it to a non-character-licensed Graco, you will see the difference.
