I purchased this car seat as an upgrade from an older car seat. We purchased it since of the new recommendations of children under the age of two needing to stay rear facing. We really like this seat. It was quick to install, straps adjust easily, very good interior size, and there is undoubtedly room to develop! This seat is also cute..exactly like the image...and is extremely uncomplicated to clean. We have it as rear facing and it works perfectly for our desires. The only issue I don't like about it is the attached pillow...it slides down and out of spot easily.
I ordered this seat for my 9 month old son. My daughter rides in a Evenflo Triumph and I Love it. It is a larger seat and a little harder to move from automobile to auto but it is sturdy and she is comfortable in it. The Titan is so disappointing compared to the Triumph. There is no true base so the seat moves more than I'd like it to. The material is not pretty soft and my son cries everytime I place him in the seat. The shoulder strap technique appears inexpensive. It is loops sewn into the straps and you move the metal "hook" to secure it. I am constantly checking to make certain it is in location. It looks like he will be additional comfortable when I face him forward, hopefully. Devote the extra funds and invest in the Triumph, you'll be glad you did!
