My daughter liked the seat she had (Primo Ducka) but certainly wanted a seat with handles for pooping. This tiny seat seemed to fit the bill and was low cost adequate that I did not mind shopping for an additional seat.
Yes, it "fits" elongated toilets. But there is absolutely nothing to preserve it from sliding about on the longer toilet seat underneath it - no clamps, no pegs, no rubber feet, nothing! Each time my daughter tried to sit down, the seat would slide 4 inches backwards - landing her on the pee guard. If I start out with the small seat as far back as conceivable, it is as well far for her to get on with no support (she's practically 3!) and when on, her feet do not touch her pretty tall step stool. It demands to be at the front of the toilet seat but it won't stay there. So I have to be with her to hold it in spot so she can climb on. Not a challenge if you are starting out - you need to have to be with your youngster - but this is a problem if your child knows how to use the potty and desires to express her independence and "do it herself".
Once she is sitting with the seat in the suitable place, the greatest complaint begins. This thing collects pee. The small pee guard is pointless. From what I've noticed pee guards are essential by some youngsters, not by others - regardless of sex. My daughter wants 1 - a decent a single. This 1 just deflects her pee all more than the seat, the floor, her pants, her shoes. In short, a drippy, nasty mess that has to be cleaned each time it is made use of with additional laundry. I shudder to assume of the muck that is accumulating in the foam beneath the vinyl.
