This cheap tote protected my Britax carseat nicely throughout current flights my son. In spite of this, prior to getting, you should certainly know a few factors that make it much less than perfect. I would suggest this item to parents who fly infrequently and do not want to obtain the Gogo Babyz Travelmate considering that of its cost.
1) If your carseat is substantial and clunky, the tote won't adjust that. The tote is merely a bag to defend the carseat. My husband wore our carseat inside the tote as a backpack and it was so big that when he turned about a couple of times, he practically hit consumers standing close to-by. The handles are okay, but imagine they are the similar height as your seat so the tote isn't highly ergonomic to pull for the reason that the handles are lower than a typical carry-on suitcase. Also, I tried pulling the tote and discovered myself pulling the side with no wheels and I triggered a tear.
two) Security takes even more time. We gate checked our seat which meant we had to bring it with us by way of security. We also had our stroller (no added expense), carry-on bags and our diaper bag (also cost-free with lap child). Security made us take our carseat out of the tote and for the reason that our Britax is so substantial, this took some added time to take it out and put it back in prior to our flights. It would have been also difficult with no my husband there to support with all the bags and deal with the carseat.
three) The materials is flimsy. Just after 1 trip, we currently have a tear at the bottom and will not use it for our subsequent trip unless duck-tape will "repair" it.
Although at the airport, I saw a mom with the Gogo Babyz Travelmate and she told me that she loved it so a lot. She was traveling alone and seemed to be undertaking alright. I do not fly rather sometimes so becoming a small annoyed with our big tote was inconvenient, but doable and not worth $70.
Best Fit for our Safety 1st vehicle seat. Cheap and does the job. For the couple of flights we take, I was glad to locate a bag the did not expense a lot more than half the vehicle seat itself, effortless and to the point. My husband appreciated the backpack straps and wheels. They are not padded and the wheels are not the top...but it gets you through. Terrific buy!
