Consumer Reviews

We installed this auto seat rear-facing in my Hyundai Sonata for my son when he was 6 months old (he is now 9 months). There is a line on the vehicle seat that must be parallel to the ground for the rear-facing position on the other hand, the line was not parallel to the ground and the seat was far also upright. The manufacturer suggests placing a rolled-up towel beneath the front of the base if the seat is not reclined sufficient. We tried this, and it was still far also upright. When my son falls asleep, his head consistently falls forward. When I reach back and lift his head back up, it falls appropriate back down as soon as I begin to let go. We've tried pillows, blankets, and so on. to try to prop his head up, but nothing at all works. We seriously wanted to like this vehicle seat, and have tried to make it operate for 3 months, but we are disappointed.
That being said, this is a superior-good quality product for a excellent cost, and it was virtually specifically what we expected. It was pretty quick to install rear-facing (I and my husband each installed it - it was a cinch for him, but I had some difficulty finding the seatbelt tightened properly) we did not try the forward-facing install, but it looks quick as nicely and the instruction manual is uncomplicated to comply with with clear illustrations for every single step.
UPDATE
Following all but giving up on this car seat, we went to a vehicle seat installation check sponsored by our county Safe Youngsters organization. 3 pool noodles had been required to adjust the seat to almost the appropriate recline -- the "parallel to ground" line is still shy of parallel. In spite of this, on the way household, our son took a glorious, comfortable 1.5 hour nap in the auto (I consider he would've slept longer if we'd let him), and his head under no circumstances slumped forward! I've read mixed conclusions about the safety of placing something beneath a car seat (even a flat towel to shield the upholstery), so I am a little uncomfortable with the three pool noodles, but the Secure Youngsters technician assured us that it's fine. We are now a lot happier with the auto seat, but we still wished we had bought the Complete Air 65 LX -- it really is identical to this model, but it has a three-position adjustable recline created to resolve this dilemma.

I totally appreciate this automobile seat and so does my son. He sits quite comfortably in it and when he falls asleep his head does not flop all more than the location. He loves his significant boy carseat.
