Customer Reviews

I recently bought 1st Years Correct Fit Recline, Evenflo Symphony 65 Safety 1st Full Air. I was having a difficult time deciding between the 3 and since I reside in a rural location, exactly where they were not readily available to see in person, I took benefit of the totally free return policy at Amazon.
The Pros:
-Quite light weight
-Heavy-duty chest clip
-High security rating side impact tested
-Adjustable headrest
-Straps adjust pretty easily
-Lots of cushioning
-High back
The Cons:
-Incredibly large "air" wings (as I call them). As stated in preceding evaluations, they stick out fairly far, and would most likely hamper a childs' line of sight. We have a 20+ minute drive house on gravel roads, so this would be an problem for us.
-Frame is plastic - which makes it good for moving in between vehicles as it is quite light weight, but I did not really feel it was as safe as the heavier, Symphony. While I do realize they have to pass the same safety tests.
-I drive a 2003 Ford Escape, and have the seat practically all the way forward as I am only 5'4". RFing the seat, the best of the seat hit the back of my drivers' seat. This meant that there is no way anyone taller than me would be in a position to drive my car with this seat installed. The base of the vehicle seat also hung partially off the seat of my car, so I just did not feel that it was a fantastic fit.
-Fabric was not overly soft/comfortable feeling.
I ultimately decided on the Evenflo Symphony, though this was a close 2nd! All three seats had been terrific seats, and price highly comparable. In the end, you have to select which seat fits your youngster car the perfect! This 1 just wasn't correct for us.

Our son just turned four and hit 40 lbs., so we were looking for a replacement for his Eddie Bauer convertible automobile seat and we did not really feel he was prepared for a booster but. We looked at the Graco Nautilus and a few other people just before settling on this model. We have been highly happy so far with ease of installation (we had the new a single secure in minutes), and comfort. I was worried the big "airbags" would annoy my son, or make it challenging for him to see out the window, but that isn't the case at all. He is quite comfy and even fell asleep inside minutes of riding around town in his new seat. His head stayed up, no bobbling or slumping.
At 40 lbs., the crotch strap is in the furthest position, so I could see that becoming an concern down the road, but for now, it is a especially fantastic and comfy fit for our usual sized, preschool-age kid.
