The lock off is so secure that even in my husband's auto that does not have locking seatbelts it does not move an inch The Snugride utilised to tip more than unless you utilised a pain in the arse locking clip, and although the Keyfit was far better it doesn't compare to the Onboard! None of my vehicles have LATCH, but the latch straps do have the button release which is a big plus!

I bought this seat following hours upon hours of study. It is given the highest rating for crash tests on consumer reports and I had read about its superb fabric. I must say the fabric is the nicest I've felt of all the automobile seats I've observed and the quantity of padding is unmatched. It seems long enough to accommodate long babies, although I did not test it with a child as mine hasn't been born but. The harness is simple and easy to adjust and the seat quickly connects to the base. I certainly like how the base is alot more like a bowl than a usual base, creating it hassle-free to spot the seat in alot more like placing the seat in a bowl rather than looking for the connection points to match up as other bases require.
The only purpose I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 is that this is a quite large seat, mostly in the length from baby's head location to toe region. I have a 1999 VW Golf, four door, and I could not fit the seat in any of the rear seating positions, even with the passenger front seat pushed to the incredibly front of the auto (making it impossible for anybody to sit there). The handle would have to keep up in most automobiles, even if the seat fits.
I genuinely did adore this seat but it is just too major. If size wasn't an concern, I'd maintain it in a heartbeat, as the seat minus the base is not any heavier or bulkier than a usual seat. It really is just the geometry of how the seat and base fit.
