Consumer Testimonials
I have four of these seat savers in various colors (gray and tan - no black). I have almost no complaints about these, they do their job. My only gripe is 1 that I have seen mentioned in other testimonials here, and that is that the back section does not come up high sufficient....nowhere near as high as most carseats. As a result (based on the carseat you use) there could be some marks left on the back of your seats.
As for the rest of my critique, these seat savers do a amazing job. They are created of a semi hard rubber material and no matter what the base of your carseat is like, it will not damage or dent the bottom of your vehicle's seat surface. Various of the other brands are just fabric and foam and I really feel like some carseats would press right through when anchored down tightly. May as well use an old towel if that is the direction you are thinking about going in. An added benefit is these tend to catch a lot of dropped snacks and cereal and will contain something spilled on them. That's a plus!
As for some of the complaints I have read here, any individual who says that their kids' carseats move about as well a lot with these seat savers is basically NOT anchoring their carseats tightly sufficient. I have 4 of these seat savers and have used them in 3 unique vehicles more than the last four years and NONE of my carseats move. If you uncover your carseats moving around they are NOT tight enough....ask an individual to aid you tighten them. I have never ever seen any discoloration as a result of utilizing these, though I have only utilised the tan and gray versions on tan, gray and black leather seats. I suppose it could be doable for the black seat savers to discolor a lighter color fabric or leather. I also saw a evaluation that claimed the seat savers stick to leather and destroy the seats. I have never ever noticed this happen in four years, although if I had to guess based on my encounter, a kid likely spilled some juice on the seat and it ultimately "glued" the seat saver to the seats. My suggestions....clean up spills promptly and clean underneath your kids' carseats regularly and you will be fine!
this is the best companion for your auto seat. does not make marks in the leather
