We have the orbit base, stroller bottom, infant seat, toddler seat, skateboard attachment etc. this is the second orbit base I have bought for our second vehicle. It's fantastic though you can use the base simply because that means you are nonetheless in infant carrier stage or rear facing- and you can swivel. The finest function about the orbit merchandise is that you are not breaking your back receiving your kid in and out of the seat in the auto. You can just stick the seat in facing you and then turn it! It extremely helps in our SUV due to the fact I also have a toddler sitting on the other side in a stationary automobile seat and I do not like to put him in entering on the street. This new black base is fairly sleek looking compared to the 1st generation orbit merchandise I have and it seems less difficult to install than g1 as nicely. Secure lath technique and the tightening turn lever is amazing.

The base is highly well built. Instalation is a breeze and I've tried mounting it in different positions in my auto behind driver, behind passenger and in the middle. It is consistently very secured and does not move at all!
