I bought this mainly as an option to the car seat's unconfortable nylon material which tends to make my daughter sweat in the summer. Though it did fit the auto seat fine, I identified that the openings on the cover where the straps come out had been produced in a vertical path and the straps themselves come out of the seat in a horizontal direction producing them all skewed and it was tricky to tighten the belt for the reason that of that. Also, the material is created out of nylon and my baby perspired even additional with this cover. I would not purchase this once more.

Our child spits up a LOT and it is certainly hard to wash the carseat fabric - takes like 10 mins to get it off and 15 minutes to set it back up again right after washing, not to mention about 24 hours to dry after washing, so if your kid is a spitter upper like mine (or has frequent diaper leakage), it is essential to have a carseat cover so you are not consistently getting to wash the carseat. So, this is a good concept for a product and I do like it. Nevertheless, I do have 2 main complaints about it.
1) the velcrow is in the vertical path whereas the shoulder straps come out in the horizontal direction, so it is a little awkward. it would be much better if it had slots for the shoulder straps that match up with the slots in the carseat.
two) the fabric is synthetic feeling, not cottony, so it makes her sweat a lot in the summer. I would prefer a cotton or terry cloth fabric.
three) as soon as she had a significant diaper leakage, and it did get by way of to the carseat (I think it may well have gotten the crotch strap wet and that may well have been why and there is nothing at all that the item could do to avoid that i guess)
But all in all, I think it really is a must have for us so I would suggest it, specifically given that there do not seem to be any other infant car seat protector covers.
