Buyer Critiques
I ordered a couple of of these shower cap style covers to compare (JJ Cole, Initially Years, SOOTHEtime, Jumper Jolly). This Initial Years is nearly identical to the JJ Cole cover but at a a lot improved cost. The outside layer of the cover seem like it may well snag if caught on some thing then again, when the JJ Cole cover was quilted and felt greater (like, higher top quality).
It really is thin but would be fantastic for mild climate. It does not cover the whole face either. Living in Michigan, this is not thick sufficient to brave our winters and I thought the flap could remain up but there is no velcro or anything to preserve it in place. I give this four stars nonetheless due to the fact it would be fantastic for someone who demands it for fall/spring or extremely mild winters.
I chose to keep the Jumper Jolly. It can cover the complete baby even though outside but the best flap has velcro to maintain the "sneak a peek" window open. It is also substantially thicker and much more suitable for winter.
I have one of the Graco auto seats. The cover is really soft and does its job in keeping the infant warm, but does not fit snuggly like the picture shows. The top of the cover is continuously slipping down and gets on my babies head, which she does not like. I left the sun/wind shade attached to try and maintain it off her head. It is aggravating, but it does maintain my child warm. Maybe this would be much better if you have a little a single. My child is eight months old and is just about to significant for this kind of auto seat.
