We completely Adore this seat, and so does our now 14-month-old son! We originally purchased it since it was advised by Consumer Reports, and our son had gotten also tall to be rear-facing any longer. It is pricey, but we are so glad that we spent the money for this superior seat! The Positive-Latch system is amazing...it tightens down genuinely nicely and installs rapidly and conveniently! The padding on the sides is terrific, as well...our son hardly ever slept in our old carseat simply because he could not comfortably lean his head to the side, but this seat has plush pillow-like sides that extend out additional, and he can now comfortably snuggle up the the side supports and drift off to sleep. If I were forced to come up with a unfavorable feature, the only factor I can assume of is that this is very a big seat and would quite possibly not fit properly in smaller cars. We have a Honda CR-V (smaller sized SUV) and a Honda Ridgeline pickup, and it fits fine. We have it placed in the center of our vehicles, so it could be a lot more snug if we were to location it on one of the sides. All in all, this is a terrific seat!
This seat is built like a tank and uncomplicated to use... I adore the quick latch program. If NASA was going to send a 14 month old to the moon they would in all probability use this vehicle seat.
