I bought this booster a couple of weeks ago and believed how the straps worked were weird. I was contemplating returning it till I saw an post in the news nowadays, that confirmed my thoughts on returning it ASAP. From what I collect this is almost identical to the LX model except the seat pad? Anyway, its cute, comfy for my son, easy to install into the auto. We had a Britax Marathon prior, so I miss the niceness of that one, but since we decided to spend less on the booster/harness seat I'm pleased with selection.
The small accessories are a bit silly, and the armrests serve tiny objective. I hate the adjustments for harness becoming on the chest, but considering the fact that my three yr old son is 38lbs and 41 inches tall, the slack doesn't get in the way, its just weird to have it there.
It is uncomplicated to install into the vehicle, you just have to pull back the cover and reach inside to pull it far more parallel to the seat back rather than the other sorts that you can pull upwards or perpendicular to seat, so I got a nice snug fit no problem. Changing the shoulder harnesses to fit his height was very painless compared to our Graco seat and Britax we had ahead of, so that is a plus!
He seems happy in it, in fact he fell asleep in it nowadays and his head did not slump more than almost as forward as it employed to in his other automobile seats which is good, but I assume its unavoidable unless you have a recline feature in a seat (do they make those and is that even secure?)
General, I'm content material with it, I feel when we acquire a further seat for my husbands auto we will go with a completely different brand but this one will be fine for us.
I would suggest this if you are on a budget and looking for a effortless seat/booster! But if you have revenue, acquire a nicer one.
