I had to get a second vehicle seat for my parents who take care of my son when I am at work. my mom wanted some thing that was quick to clean, i wanted something affordable but secure. My other car seat is the similar sort--Cosco Scenera--but is the green one particular, and that item had a evaluation that said this auto seat was rated nearly great for safety, and it's more affordable than most carseats. The colors are amazing--I gave my parents the green one particular and ended up keeping this a single for myself! It's also Highly hassle-free to place together/adjust straps and such. it goes from a rear-facing to a forward-facing seat (my son began out rear-facing immediately after he grew out of his infant seat at 5 or six months).
This similar auto seat (numerous cover) can be purchased at walmart for about $20 less. It is a horrible rear facing seat for infants, it puts the child too far upright. It is mediocre for an older baby who is not prepared for front facing seat. It also does not strap in as tight as it must in the rear-facing position. I would advise yet another brand convertible or an infant auto seat. We bought it for our son who was under one particular but also heavy for the infant seat we had. I ended up continuing to use the infant seat till he turned 1 since the lack of tightness in the rear-facing position bothered me.
