Please ignore the reviewer who rated the seat a single star due to the rebound problem. I am a certified kid passenger safety technician and this is NOT a security concern. Virtually all rear facing seats will rebound in a crash. The only ones that will not are infant seats with rigid LATCH (the only 1 at the moment readily available in the US is the Baby Trend Latch-Loc with rigid LATCH) or one with an anti-rebound bar like the Britax Companion and convertible seats that tether rear facing (all Britax convertible seats, Sunshine Youngsters Radian, etc). As extended as your seat moves much less than an inch in any direction AT THE BELT PATH (i.e. on an infant seat with a base, ideal at the seat crack exactly where the other poster mentioned it was tight) it is safe. The Chicco KeyFit is a really excellent seat. It is without a doubt a single of the perfect on the marketplace presently. It installs like a dream and fits compact babies fairly properly. As a tech of seven years, I would not hesitate to suggest this seat or use it for my personal kid.

The Chicco Travel System, which includes the infant car seat and base, is a superb item. My daughter was born only 5lbs 14oz, and she was extremely snug in the auto seat from day one particular. She is now three months old and this automobile seat is a terrific fit for her. Her head does not shift about at all.
