The BRITAX MARATHON 70 convertible car seat is designed for children rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 1 year and 20 pounds up to 70 pounds. The MARATHON 70 achieves revolutionary head safety through the use of BRITAX SafeCell Technology, integrated steel bars, and Versa-Tether that work together to minimize head excursion and reduce the risk of head injury during a frontal impact. The MARATHON 70 also incorporates BRITAX Side Impact Protection, offers a no-rethread and quick-adjust five-point harness, multiple buckle and recline adjustments, and an easy access cover and access to belt paths from the front of the seat. Customer Critiques

We Enjoy this automobile seat!My daughter is Pretty comfy in it(33 lbs)It is installed with the latches and is highly secure,does not even budge when trying to move it around.It is a small more challenging to install than older models(took me about 15 minutes to make sure all straps had been tight,etc) but is worth the time and effort.
I noticed a couple of upgrades vs older models,smaller issues that truly make a difference.
1.The slide up and down harness adjustments,Completely Great!
two.The small elastic on the belly pad,Entirely Amazing!(the one on our older roundabout fell off consistently and lastly got lost.
3.The strap tension tightener is below the cover and in a way that the kid can't loosen it and develop into unsafe.
4.the belt holder for seat belt in the vehicle is kind of odd,could not figure it out.
The cover is especially nice in azalea,it is alot more purple tone in individual than in the photos on the web(which I preferred),the insert is an extra added cushion behind the child and my daughter is slightly reclined in the typical position that when she's asleep she looks incredibly cozy.
I have it installed in a 02 ford wind star behind the driver's seat in a bench seat,It fits rather properly.I am using the latch process and had to get rid of the headrest.
