I just received the adapter last night and had the auto seat securely attached to stroller inside a couple minutes.
The only assembly expected is looping the straps about the metal base. Actually takes 20 seconds.
The adapter snaps perfect into the slots that the seat attaches to. Completely fool proof. Just make certain each sides snap in, this will let you know the base is secure.
I have a Chicco Keyfit 30. All you have to do is spot the carseat in and press down each and every side. Make positive the grey "hooks" snap into the adapter. If you don't snap in both sides, the seat will not be secured. I didn't push down to snap in every single side, so at 1st it seems unsecure, once everything is snapped in, the auto seat barely moves. The straps from the adapter connect above the car seat to give it extra safety.
To remove the auto seat press down on the deal with that removes the vehicle seat from the car seat base. This handle releases those grey "hooks", which snap into the base and adapter. It aids to push down a little bit on the car seat to release it from the adapter.
Right after testing it out final night, I am totally happy with the purchase. Anything works as advertised.

This Universal adapter was Awesome ! Quite straightforward to install and operates superb for Snugride35 car seat! I was worried but it is especially sturdy as well!
