As a parent of two kids who are off the chart (100% +) in height, auto seats are continually a struggle. And I'm sorry to say this, but the folks who are continuously wagging their fingers at those of us who move their kids to the subsequent size up in seat as well early have NO notion what it's like to attempt and cram a tall kid into the "appropriate" seat. Anyway, my two year old daughter was 3 inches taller than the max height recommendation for her old five-point front facing seat, so I had to move her into a booster. She was tall sufficient for it, but wiggled about so considerably that I was concerned about the effectiveness of the belts. I started seeking for some kind of belt adjuster, and was concerned with some of the reviewers points about not using ones that pulled the lap belt up--possibly causing abdominal injury throughout an accident. The Brica belt adjuster is wonderful and it definately does NOT pull the lap belt up. It holds it in spot, and slightly lowers the shoulder belt to the proper height. It is significant, and covers most of my daughter's front, but everything is in the perfect location. I do not really feel concerned about boost of injury--in fact, I feel significantly superior than when she was in her also-small 5 point.

I bought an additional 1 just to have in my husband's car, too. I have had totally different ones in the past, and have left them in rental automobiles! So I guess I should really get a couple spares, too--they certainly aid keep that seatbelt from cutting into your neck. So they are not just for children!
