Client Critiques

For some reason this adapter does not officially support the Chicco KeyFit auto seat. Thankfully, the KeyFit seat fits in the adapter and is really stable and secure - offered you follow 1 rather simple added step in the installation:
First, comply with all the regular directions for installation. If you try to put in the KeyFit seat now, you can get either have it be level OR secure, but not each. Not very good. The predicament is the notch on the bottom of the KeyFit seat does not effectively lower onto the key bar on the adapter, considering the secondary ("accessory") bar interferes. The answer: Get rid of the accessory bar. The accessory bar needs to be removed to use the included accessory tray anyway, so there are even instructions for how to do this (it is simple and easy, just take away two screws).
I am confident for legal reasons the BOB persons will possibly tell you not to do this, but truthfully the KeyFit feels substantially much more secure than it does in my Snap N Go stroller, which it supposedly is created for. In my opinion, with the accessory bar removed, the KeyFit seat fits as nicely as the other supported seats I've seen in use. (Disclaimer: I am not an expert, so use your own judgment.)
This would get five stars if it officially supported the KeyFit and was perhaps 25% less costly. It is actually just some aluminum tubing and a couple of screws, so it seems overpriced to me. But it functions well.

We purchased this to go with our Chicco Key Fit auto seat and it fits awesome. It is sturdy and painless to install.
